AR-15 Build Class
Overview:
The AR-15 Rifle build class will teach you hands-on how to build your own AR-15 from the ground up. The class will be taught by a certified armorer and Army Special Forces Weapons Sergeant. This class will teach you not only how to build the rifle but also enhance your practical knowledge of the rifle as an end user.
Course content:
- Class is 8 hours to include range time to conduct a live fire function check
- Lower and upper receiver build class will be taught step-by-step to allow each student sufficient time to learn the steps
- The Special Forces Instructor will be able to relate the relevance and importance of each step, broadening the student's knowledge of their rifle in a practical manner
- All tools provided and new tools available for sale
- The live fire function check will also include drills taught in our Combat Rifle Level 1 class by our Special Forces Instructors
- Lunch is catered at Cobra 1 Tactical
Prerequisite:
None
Required:
- Must bring your own, legally purchased AR-15 stripped lower receiver and all parts necessary to build an AR-15. Upon registration and payment an email will be sent to you with a detailed list of parts you will need to complete the class. All parts can be purchased at Cobra 1 Tactical or through your own vendor of choice.
- 200 rounds of .223 for live fire function check, zeroing, and combat rifle drills
- 3 AR-15 magazines (must comply with NJ state law)
- Eye and ear protection
- Appropriate clothing for the weather
